Left Charleston Cat Painting
£45.00Price
When Charleston House and cats collide! Painted on the reverse side of the glass using mixed media including gold leaf. The frame has been repurposed, painted with gently distressed Deep Adam Green and backed with scrap William Morris wallpaper. Measuring approx 19.5cm x 19.5cm, including the frame. Signed on the back.
Reverse painting on glass is an art form consisting of applying paint to a piece of glass and then viewing the image by turning the glass over and looking through the glass at the image. I've added my own twist by applying mixed media, such as paper and gold leaf. This makes it a challenge but rewarding way to create original pieces.
